Cuore and St Gemma’s Hospice Joint Fundraising
For their West Yorkshire debut, Cuore Chamber Orchestra joined forces with Leeds-based St Gemma’s Hospice to present a special joint fundraising concert in support of their respective charities.
The partnership was made even more special in that Artistic Director William Dutton’s grandfather, Gerald Richards, was fundamentally involved with St Gemma’s from the early days of its existence.
A day before the main concert, on Thursday 5th March, the principal players of Cuore gave an intimate concert to patients, staff and friends in the Chapel of St Gemma’s Hospice. In acknowledging that not everyone will be able to access Cuore’s main concerts, and as part of our dedication to serve at the core of Yorkshire’s communities, it was our privilege to bring the concert hall into the heart of St Gemma’s.
Cuore and St Gemma’s could not function without the dedicated help, energy and generosity of volunteers, and we are both truly grateful for your continued support.
