St Wilfrid’s Church Concert
On Saturday 9th May, Cuore Chamber Orchestra performed the third concert of their inaugural season. Playing to a packed audience in St Wilfrid’s church, Harrogate, the evening celebrated the great composer Joseph Haydn and saw performances of his first Symphony and first Cello Concerto.
As part of their dedication to promote works by British composers, the orchestra also performed Elgar’s Elegy and Malcolm Arnold’s Sinfonietta N°1. The concert concluded with audience all-time favourite, Mozart’s Eine Kleine Nachtmusik.
….… a concert which oozed quality with a relaxed ease….”

The evening also featured the debut of the very first ‘Cuore Future Star’ – international cellist Cansın Kara. This new initiative has been founded to help showcase young and emerging talents from across Europe and bring their exceptional music making to audiences across the Yorkshire region.
